My artwork focuses on subtleties in form, color and movement. I try to show the viewer beauty in simple organic images and shapes. When you see the different media I work in you will notice strong connections between them.

Today I stumbled across a root on my way to the post office. It just lay there on the sidewalk beside a huge mound of snow. My reaction: grab it and throw it into the back of the car! Beautiful!!!

The mystery of cattails
close up!
I see landscapes. Delicate lines, shapes and light dance around like faries in the sunshine.

All bundled up at the beach! Its cold and windy, but the seagulls are so much fun to watch and photograph. I also love the ever changing light in the glistening water. Gorgeous!
Photographing these images makes me feel like I'm taking a little bit of my day back home with me.
Hope you enjoy them.

I love the smell of burned wood in my studio. When I work with driftwood for my jewelry, I like to burn the ends of the branches to give them a certain look! Hmmmm - what will this become? All of my jewelry pieces are created using instinct. Very little planning is done since I want them to feel organic and like they are part of nature.
